The S.W.E.E.T. (SOUL Women’s Education Enrichment Tournament) Classic is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. We aim to engage 20 women’s teams, comprised of women from all sectors of economic industries. All proceeds from the SWEET Classic will enable us to advance our young girls initiatives.
Empowering Girls
Through corporate sponsorships and team entry fees we aim to raise $70,000 to advance our girls empowerment programs. If you are unfamiliar with SOUL Programs, we are a sports-based youth development program that directly engages over 150 low-income youth in Washington DC.
Approximately, 25% of our youth are girls. The Sister Circle program is our premiere girl’s enrichment program. Our vision is to have Sister Circle operate out of the three DC Public High Schools we support.
