Taylor is originally from Maryland and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in forensic science. Taylor’s work in youth and education began in 2017 with Montgomery County Recreation Department where she was a youth camp director for ages 5-13. Taylor began her work with SOUL in 2022 as the operations coordinator where she oversees the quality and effectiveness of volunteers, tutors, and students at various sites. During her undergraduate studies she volunteered with a non-profit, Apex which provided a safe space where children could get homework done and or team activities. After graduating from Loyola University New Orleans in 2019, she was named the Assistant Track & Field coach at Loyola University New Orleans. In this role she not only coached but was the operations coordinator for the team to ensure a smooth travel itinerary.
